Thinking Like a Designer (2)
Date :  2016.11.27, 13:30-16:00

Why do we need to think like a designer? Art is not just a static painting in the exhibition hall. It is not a quiet sculpture. It is rather a process of thinking. It is about a combination between logic and emotion.

Art will become the most important mentor during the growth stage of children. Thinking like a designer is a system for innovative exploration. It can also be used more widely, and it has a growing influence in the field of education and discipline in the 21st century.

The Objective of Workshop

This workshop aims to teach children to observe art, get inspiration, and organize their thoughts through the use of design thinking theory. The Long Museum and the Youth Creative School planned and held the first workshop of "Thinking Like a Designer " in October. On this basis, this workshop will be combined with the exhibition: "Works of Post 80’s after 2008" of Long Museum (Pudong). It carefully selects the works that children may be interested in, and extend the time for guidance, interpretation, and thinking, to give children more room for exercise, stimulate more creative potential, and further enhance their understanding of art.
