***Participants must bring their portfoliosand their own materials for sketching (pencils, paper, colors, etc.) and ifthey want to, molding putty.
About the Instructor:
AdrianaGallegos (Mexico City, 1975) has nearly twenty yearsexperience on curatorship, exhibitions and collections management. She has a BAin Conservation - Museology and a master degree on Contemporary History. With aMA in Cultural Management, Heritageand Sustainable Tourism, and a major on Cultural Policies, she has been recipient of fellowships from theSpanish Ministry of Education in 2001 and 2008. She has collaborated withseveral museums, among them: the Franz Mayer Museum, the National Museum ofArts and the National Museum of History all in Mexico City. Also, Adriana hasbeen awarded scholarships by the American Alliance of Museums and the NationalAssociation for Interpretation. She actively participates at the Association ofArt Museum Curators and the ICOM – DEMHIST committees. Currently, Adriana is ChiefCurator and Exhibitions Manager at Arocena Museum with an expertise onphotography, decorative and applied arts.
