From Mexico to China, Silver as A Symbol of Materials in Different Cultural Backgrounds

At the end of the "Mexico’s Silver: History and Future" exhibition, Long Museum invites Mexican curator Adriana Gallegos to give lectures and talks with Wang Kezhen, director of the Metal Craft Department of Nanyi. The two speakers will respectively present the development and current status of silver-based jewelry, utensils, and sculptures in Mexico and China. The lecture also invited Guo Xin, Director of the Jewelry Art Studio of Shanghai University of Fine Arts to host as a guest speaker. Together with the speakers Adriana, Wang Kezhen and RonShane (AIVA International Visual Art Education), they discussed the symbol of silver in different cultural backgrounds.
