The "Life and Belief: Mexico & China’s Silver" lecture is based on the exhibition "Mexico’s Silver: History & Future". Hu Jianjun, an associate professor at the Academy of Fine Arts of Shanghai University, is invited to share the story behind Zhongmo silverware. The lecture will be based on the physical objects and pictures of old Chinese and Mexican silverware, analyse the cultural connotation behind the silverware from the perspectives of history, craftsmanship, category, and ornamentation, compare the similarities and differences of Chinese and Mexican silver art, and share the collection story and truth with the audience. Through witnessing the century-old romance between people and things, the lecture presents the beauty of classical art and slow life. In addition, it involves combining the past with the present, old silverware with modern handicrafts, and reflecting the beauty of the classic and the modern.
