"The 2nd Conference on Chinese and International Installation Art" is an academic conference on installation art, which aims to promote the diversified development of contemporary art forms, explore potential young installation art resources, grasp the grammatical relationship of installation art, and improve the pattern of contemporary Chinese art. 

It is a non-profit academic activity about academic exchanges and exhibitions on the status and development of installation art.The successul holding of the "The 1st Conference on Chinese and International Installation Art" in Beijing is a great contribution to the development history of international contemporary installation art. It discusses the basic characteristics of contemporary installation art, the value tendency of contemporary installation art, the development experience and history of installation art in Chinese art history, the opportunities, future trends, and how to clarify the artistic grammar of installation art. The participating experts put forward their own opinions based on their own research and experience. This conference will continue to launch more discussions and reflections on installation art, and summarize the academic results of the previous event, discuss the grammatical relationship of Chinese installation art and the stage and status of Chinese installation art, presenting objective, rational and positive contemporary installations artistic outlook. In the future, there will be more interdisciplinary academic exchanges and discussions on installation art.

More than 100 artists from China, Germany, Switzerland, France, Japan and other countries will participate in this event. After review, 20 works are confirmed to be displayed, providing materials for the forum discussion.
