The Contribution and Significance of Pu Ru in the Recent History of Modern Painting

Pu Ru,as an old princes,occupied an important position during the recent history of modern painting.At the time of republic of painting,”Sourth Zhang North Pu”resounded art community.There is no doubt,Pu Ru’s calligraphy and painting continue to play an impact now.It isn’t changed with the development of a specific history and decline.Based on this,we can not help but doubt,where is the artistic charm of Pu Ru’s painting?And,what is contribution of Pu Ru during the recent history of modern painting?
In this lecture,we will introduce Pu Ru’s painting and calligraphic work of various periods,and review his artistic carrer,hope to further proof the contribution and significance of Pu Ru’s in the history of twentieth century painting.And explore its unique aesthetic value.
Speaker:
Tang Zhe Ming,born in 1970,in Shanghai,native of XiaoShan,Zhejiang.Graduated from the China Academy of art history department,2005.Ph.D.Mr.Tang has served as deputy editor in Shanghai Fine Arts Publishing House,the muster instructor of Shanghai University of Fine Arts,Chinese artists association,the member of Art Association.He committees landscape painting and the hintory of Chinese painting,has his own monograph like《Diversified mentoring》、《Painting of JiangNan》.He published the monograph about the history of Chinese painting recarch,like,《Southern Song Dynasty landscape painting pen and ink drawings of certain origins》,《Centennial Painting and Chinese modern art concepts》.
