It is not difficult to find that the "post-70s" artist group has played a key role in the development of contemporary Chinese art. The pursuit of individuality and self-expression becomes the  characteristics of "post-70s" artists. In this exhibition, "portrait" becomes a mirror. On the one hand, the characters and scenes created by the artist are themselves "portraits" of their personal consciousness. Those "portraits" that are ordinary, beautiful, or alienated are the artist's thinking and self-reflection. In their brushstrokes, visitors can perceive the transcendental power of painting and the precious aesthetic value they give to art. On the other hand, the artistic power assembled by these participating artists is obviously the overall "portrait" of Chinese contemporary art. Human nature exploration, social attention, youth pain, self-consideration... the individual consciousness that these artists poured into the paintings also unknowingly permeated the unique experiences and rich memories that were given to them by that era. In this social "portrait" painted by these artists together, visitors can feel the inspiration given to art by the times.

We have to admit that "portrait" is the kind of art form that visitors can easily interact with. From the "I" of the painting to the "I" of the self, from the "I" of the artist to the "I" of the visitors , from the "I" in history to the "I" in the present... The visitors can transform their identity and through the transformation of identity, they can obtain the powerful energy embeded in the work. They either regain confidence, or feel the time, or start a beautiful daydream. The works created by these participating artists have changed from the present to the past, but the energy embeded in these works is from the present to the future. In the "Lost Portrait" exhibition, the fragmented artworks will make visitors feel like they are standing in front of a pile of debris. However, when they pick up these pieces themselves, they can see the shadow of the artist, the shadow of the times, and the shadow of yourself. Through this exhibition, Long Museum let visitors encounter a new world laid out on canvas. This world is full of changes and uncertainties, but at the same time it has a sort of magic that constantly asks you to follow.

The exhibition seems to be focusing on artistic techniques, composition, use of color... But when visitors actually walk into the exhibition hall, they will find that it is more about the soul and salvation."Portrait" has a kind of "safe distance". The power generated by this wonderful distance belongs to the "person" in the work, the "person" who creates the work, the "person" facing the work, and The "person" who is waiting for the work.......We hope that the power of this exhibition will be constantly passed on to the next "person" viewing the work. It can be said that the "Lost Portrait" is a wonderful presentation of the current state of art. The outstanding participating artists show the maximum strength of the "post-70s" group of artists. This exhibition is even more of a prospect of the future of Chinese contemporary art.
