Gorgeous Growth— Yan ShilinSculpture Exhibition

Yan’s One Two Three exhibited in Beijing Moon River Sculpture Festival in 2008 was one of his realistic works reflecting that the subtle elements in daily life were in fact flowers blooming. The expectations for the future were written on the innocent faces. One Two Three was Yan’s graduation work that ever won him the God Award of the Graduation Works in Hubei Institute of Fine Arts and the Excellent Award of the exhibition of the Outstanding Graduation Works of Chinese College Students in Beijing. Although he was not famous immediately, it paved a promising way for his success.

Twentieth-Century Art from the Long Museum Collection I —— Shanghai Art Scene

The twentieth century was one of the most active periods in art history. The co-founder, director of the Long Museum, Mrs Wang Wei has started the collecting of works in this period since 1990s. By this year the museum collection represents art in the twentieth-century through more than 730 pieces(sets)by artists from all of the world. Since June 2014, the Curatorial Research Department started the research on the museum collection from the perspectives of case study and the feather discussion, which will be presented in a variety of ways such as exhibition and publication.

Film in City, City in Film is a long-term film screening and communication project organized by Long Museum, and co-organized by consulates of a number of countries. There will be one film screening for one week, which will be shown in the Long Theater.

West Bund 10:00am-6:00pm (last admission at 5:00pm) Tuesday-Sunday, closed on Mondays
Pudong 10:00am-6:00pm (last admission at 4:30pm) Tuesday-Sunday, closed on Mondays
